Invitation for southwestern Wisconsin businesses
Please accept this invitation to join other regional businesses and school districts in connecting students directly and planfully to our area businesses. The event will take place in two locations on Wednesday, February 8th. (Alternate date will be February 15th if weather causes cancellation)
Beginning in Fall 2017 all school districts will be implementing Career and Academic Planning (ACP) for students grades 6-12. As part of this planning Career Cruising software will be used by most all WI school districts.
With the support of Prosperity SW Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) we have the ability, in this region, to add an additional software element called Inspire that can link our students directly to regional businesses.
There is one primary goal for this event. We are bringing business and education together in order facilitate the the on-line set-up to link our students to the businesses in their communities and surrounding areas. No matter how big or how small the business...this tool is invaluable in preparing and planning for the future workforce of the region.
We recommend you bring a laptop so that you may work directly with the tech support staff in preparing your company''s profile. Extra laptops will be on-hand for those who may need them.
We hope that you will be able to have representation at this event. If so, please be sure to RSVP, to Tarasa Lown at or 608-735-4311 ext 217 or firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we may plan accordingly. While we'd like RSVP's for planning, walk-ins will be welcome the day of the event.
We look forward to seeing you on February 8th!
