Tim’s Inspirational Quotes Collection

We can all use a boost, some inspiration, to brighten our day and motivate us to reach higher in life. If all we did was listen to the voices of doubt and discouragement within and without, what would we achieve? We want to get past statements like that of Thomas Hobbes when he said the “life of man [is] solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short.” Talk about a downer!
We live in a world filled with beauty, wonder, mystery, joy and incredible promise. Within us dwells an endless well of imagination, the power of which, according to John Muir, makes us infinite. Also, as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” We can’t control our circumstances in life, but we can control our attitude and response to our circumstances. And through a positive outlook, we can influence our surroundings and make life better for others.
